We produce fasteners for a variety of customers including those for military, automotive, and aerospace applications.
We have an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Production Scheduler.
Scheduling is a critical function in manufacturing.
Our customers and our operators depend on the scheduler to provide the plan to meet our customers' needs.
If you are a skilled problem solver, and have extensive experience working with ERP systems, this may be for you.
We are looking for someone who will:
Utilize ERP system to review the master planning schedule and create shop orders for production.
Schedule and monitor work schedules with an emphasis on machine load vs.
capacity.
Maintain shop order packets including routing and material requirements.
Use information regarding production issues, capacities, and restraints to adjust the schedule when necessary.
Communicate effectively with operators to gain critical information.
Monitor promise dates and initiate expediting as needed.
Identify opportunities to improve processes.
Qualified candidates will have at least three years of experience in a manufacturing, a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, and knowledge of ERP systems.
Experience in metals machining environment is strongly preferred.
Strong communication skills are required along with fluency in Microsoft Office.
Experience with Work Wise's TCM ERP system is a plus.
