In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our organization.
This position requires strong leadership skills, strategic planning abilities, and a focus on process improvement.
Responsibilities Manage and lead all aspects of plant operations, including production, production control, maintenance, safety, and shipping and receiving.
Develop and implement strategies to optimize plant performance and efficiency.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvement initiatives and new product development.
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for continuous improvement.
Recruit, develop, and supervise a team of plant employees, providing guidance and support as needed.
Implement lean manufacturing principles to streamline operations and reduce waste.
Monitor staffing requirements and adjust headcount as needed.
Develop and manage capacity plans to meet the projected forecast for the near and long-term needs.
Improve operational management systems, processes, and best practices.
Requirements Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
In-depth knowledge of plant operations, including assembly processes and quality control procedures.
Mechanical knowledge to understand the functioning of plant equipment.
Strong analytical skills to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively communicate with employees at all levels of the organization.
Proven track record in process improvement initiatives.
Proven work experience as an Operations Manager or in a similar role.
Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management.
Familiarity with business and financial principles.
Outstanding organizational skills.
Ten 10 years of progressive operational experience (5 years in a supervisory role).
