Join a leading manufacturer healthcare equipment in the Chicago area PC Support and System Admin Support Tech As the PC Support/System Administrator you will have hands-on problem solving and process oriented PC support tech with some knowledge of basic Windows Server, router and switch support work.
Strong people interaction skills can deal patiently with all levels of user skills and authority levels, from CEO to factory floor workers.
Works effectively, efficiently and with accuracy in a small IT department.
Keeps customer service at the forefront of thoughts while providing top personal service through executing IT processes and not primarily through personal heroics.
Primarily focused on supporting PCs, smartphones but also provides support more experienced System administrators on networking and support.
Skills and Experience Deep experience supporting PCs / laptops with Windows 7 and Microsoft Office for PC Some experience with Microsoft Windows Server and virtualization technology Experience supporting Microsoft Exchange and Outlook Experience with supporting Microsoft Internet Information Server experience.
Experience with Android and Apple iOS connectivity to MS Exchange server Strong at working with users of ALL levels including executives as a Level 1 and Level 2 help desk.
The following experiences are useful but not necessary as long as interest exists:
Administering and managing Routers (WLAN, LAN) and Switches from HP or Cisco Microsoft SharePoint maintenance and support Firewall maintenance Hardware for Windows serves, SANS, etc.
Associates degree or equivalent experience in computer science.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
